Two fundamental elements of my pregnancy that have been keys for the Long walk are the exercise and the rest. During the months of malaises it was very difficult to exercise to me; but in the middle of the fourth month she was ready again. The exercise is part of my daily routine, and it really surprised the energy and the well-being that I feel after a session. I began with 30 minutes of Pilates for pregnant women, three times per week. But those days quickly four or five became, indeed by the good that makes me feel. Also I decided to listen to body and to take siestas I need whenever them, although has an interminable list of things to do. With a good rest I can have more energy to finish slopes fastest and with efficiency. Days before the Long walk I consulted with my medical one on the limits that would have to consider.
Taking into account my good state from health, simply it recommended to me to maintain to me all along hydrated well and not to make an effort to me too much neither to walk more than it could. The total circuit was of 5,6 kilometers. And I walked everything. We take a rest in the middle of the route to eat a nutritious and power refreshment (cereal oranges and bars) and to resupply to us of water, and in the end we enjoyed a deserved lunch. Not only I, but also my children. We leaned mutually and we walked slowly like part of the team of my friend.
We were the last ones in arriving from the equipment; but in this type of events he does not matter who arrives first, important it is to participate. We participate, we felt well supporting the campaign to fight the Multiple Sclerosis, we amused and we felt the energy of all the people reunited by a common cause. An energy that increased the one that we already brought.
